Squawk Aha helps companies and market researchers to better understand mobile era consumer. Squawk Aha uses smartphone sensors to understand how people do things in the real world without asking questions or ask relevant questions to learn why people do what they do.
To use the application you have to be specially invited to participate in a research project. Registered participants can log in using their email addresses.
This version of application includes the following features:
Survey invitations. This means researchers will be able push you notifications with links to web surveys or diaries.
Coarse location tracking. This means researchers will be able to track your smartphone location as accurately as approximately one block (±500 meters) or in some cases particular store.
Motion and activity tracking. This means researchers will be able to track general type of your activity: walking, running, driving, etc.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
